Qualcomm and Amazon announced a long-term collaboration around custom AI data-center chips and related products. The partnership includes AI inference hardware and advanced optical connectivity technologies, highlighting Qualcomm's broader move into AI infrastructure.

The strategic significance goes beyond the commercial agreement.
