Client responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information, disclosures, and instructions.
• Respond to deadline-driven requests within the timelines communicated, particularly for patent office actions and statutory due dates.
• Ensure that material you provide does not infringe third-party rights or breach confidentiality obligations owed to others.

Fees and payment

Fees are quoted in the engagement document and are exclusive of official fees, associate fees, and applicable taxes unless expressly stated. Payment terms and refund conditions are set out in our Payment Policy.

Intellectual property

• You retain ownership of your inventions, disclosures, and confidential materials.
• On full payment, deliverables prepared specifically for you may be used for your intended purposes.
• We retain ownership of our methodologies, templates, internal tooling, models, and know-how used to produce deliverables.
• Website content, brand marks, and design remain the property of Hashi IP Solutions.

Confidentiality

Both parties will keep confidential information received from the other confidential and use it only for the purposes of the engagement, subject to disclosures required by law or by a patent office.

No guarantee of outcome

Search, analytics, drafting, and prosecution services are performed with professional care, but the grant, validity, enforceability, or commercial outcome of any IP right cannot be guaranteed. Search results are limited to available databases and the search strategy agreed for the engagement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the professional fees paid to us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, or opportunity.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed in writing in an engagement document.
